A few suggestions, if you please. I tried to have them be really modest in scope ;D
In the fleet organization window, double clicking on a commander name would select it in the leader window. Usage: you want to know his traits, health, cursus, award him a medal, etc. No more you need to go fishing for him in the leader list.
In the leader list, commanders with a charge have an indicator after their name (*) or the name is in color. Usage: when you start to systematically want to give a command to each of your leader, you know at once who must be taken care off.
In the leader list, to the left (the tree of leaders), clicking on a leader, select his command (a ship, a ground unit). Not super useful but does no harm :-) The reverse though is more important: selecting a charge (a unit, a ship), would select the leader! This way, looking at your ships/units in command you see instantly who is in charge and what are the skills of the commander.

Going along with that, another small QOL adjustment for leaders could be including their stat increases in their event history box on their information window. It would be nice to see for posterity when promotions happened for different commanders.

Double-clicking commander names to view them in the Officers window is already a thing! You might have to double-click the commander position title and not the name though, I don't exactly remember. It would be nice for the same functionality to be extended to other commanders (GU leaders, governors/commandants would all benefit) as well as indeed having the reverse functionality of selecting the officer's command by clicking him in the Officers window. I found myself wishing for the latter quite often while assembling the best ground commanders for an invasion army, or comparing my colonies' industrial output to determine who deserved the +30% mining +30% production administrator ;D
