For some reason, all the images are gone and replaced with the generic "image missing" icon.
-
The error is:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
This seems to be because I was accessing the site through HTTPS, not HTTP. I'm guessing it's something Chrome changed on their side to automatically redirect to HTTPS rather than HTTP.

I think it can help:

Change your default language to English from Albanian.
-
In account settings, right? I tried that but it didn't work.

How about now?

No, it still doesn't work. When trying to go to the image urls, I get:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Make sure you are using http rather than https.

Yeah, I noted that it worked with HTTP. It's a slight annoyance since Chrome will direct to HTTPS by default, so I have to manually go to HTTP.

I am having the same issue. Language was already set to English. I don't understand what you guys are talking about in HTTP vs HTTPS.

HTTP:

HTTPS:

As you can see from the difference between the two screenshots, images like the medals on a user profile don't load with https. They return a 403 forbidden if accessed through https. Clearly some server-side misconfiguration, but the forum works just fine if accessed through http. If you have https-everywhere as an extension (or browser setting?), turn it off or make an exception for this website.
The difference between https and http is that with https (the s stands for secure) the traffic between the website and you is encrypted, meaning nobody in your public wifi or evil three later agencies tapping the wires at internet exchanges can read what you're sending or receiving. Most notably this means any passwords you send can't be intercepted. Nowadays it's considered good practice for all websites to have https.

My start page looks different now, too. For a couple of weeks it is broken until I open a thread or log into it. I know this is because of some firefox setting, probably security, as a fresh installation without extensions and privacy changes does not cause the problem.

I've had that happen before too, usually a simple refresh resolves it.
