Aurora 4x

I have 9 research labs assigned to each project. I have 280 research points per lab researched. And an example of my power on propulsion research project it has a scientist with a bonus of 2.4X. That project is producing 639 annual research points. It should be about 9 times higher than that.
The game is acting like all my projects suddenly only have 1 lab working on each project not the 9 I have assigned. The only thing new that happened was I detected an alien ship in the sol system. All my research is on Earth in sol.
I have played a lot of Aurora 4x before even on the old dos version. I am using the C# current version by the way.
Another new thing I am using win 11 system to run this game on. I used to use win 10. Is this an issue with win 11?
Is this some new feature in the newest update? Does research slow down when an alien ship is detected?
Or is this a bug? If a bug any ideas how to fix it? I tried to reset my projects from scratch and that does not fix my issue.
Something is acting up and I am here asking for help.
I do not want to restart this game.

First things that come to mind for me are checking that your Wealth isn't negative and/or you have enough available workers.
-
Good ideas, But none of those apply.
Plenty of wealth and free workers.
This happened when an alien ship showed u in orbit at Saturn.
I also saved the game then and when I reloaded it this happened.
So it could be a saved game corruption? But why only the research?
And why can't I reset it. I delete the project and restart it and reorder all 9 research labs and I still get the same numbers.
Like the game only registers 1 lab working not all 9.
My industry and mines are still working at full production.
All those numbers are good. Just research took a hit on every project.
I have 9 projects running and every project has 9 labs.
And they all show slightly different numbers.
Multiples of 1 lab times the scientists bonus function. Each scientist has a different bonus.
So all the results are a bit different.

Fixed it. Went back to an old save and replayed past the point of failure. And still working this time.
Must have been a corrupted save game.
-
Makes me wonder how the whole thing happened. If it was save related there must be something in the db causing it so should be possible to find in the corrupted save, but not really worth digging into at this point.

Yeah mysterious indeed. I can't remember ever hearing about a bug like this before.
