Title: Salvage Ship
Post by: welchbloke on October 31, 2009, 03:49:26 PM
I'm thinking about designing a salvage ship for my current race; however, it has been so long since I designed one I can't remember whether I need any cargo bays along with the salvage module  :) Example designs would be even better  :D

Any minerals or components will be loaded into any cargo bays in the same fleet as the salvage ship, so as long as there are freighters in the same fleet the salvage ship doesn't need its own cargo holds.

Thanks for the quick answer Steve.  I was intending to build my ships for independent ops so it looks like I'm going to have bigger ships or I'll have to change my design philosophy.
