Title: Best Event Message. Ever.

Had a ship take some engine damage and drop out of the fleet. Post-battle the engine was repaired. I gave the fleet orders to Absorb the ship and pick up survivors. Then I clicked on "copy to subfleets".

I got the following message in the event log.
"Gato 001 has an order to absorb itself. While it would be entertaining to watch the attempt, this is not actually possible."

Awww shucks... That's just Steve smiling down on you, knowing that somewhere, sometime, someone would try to make that event happen.

This gives one the mental image of a ship trying to absorb itself.   

That message is made of win.   



Also: "Cargo Task Group #2 has a order to join with itself.    While it would be entertaining to watch the attempt, this is not actually possible. "

Seems like Steve had some fun programing those messages when fleets try to do something impossible to themselves.

I applaud Steve for his restraint.  I, likely, would have worded the message in a not so "family friendly" way.
