Title: "Contact Sharing" in TGs
Post by: seinwave on April 18, 2011, 12:02:07 PM
I know contacts are shared inside of and in between TGs, but can one ship in a TG lock onto a contact with fire control if another ship in the TG/outside of the TG has a contact on the target? I can't figure this out definitively from the forum.

If the contact is within the FC range, yes.  Or at least it used to be, as I've seen Steve do that in his TN campaign.

Yes, all your sensors within a star-system are "networked"

And no, the enemy can not hack the network   :)

What about uploading a virus to it that will cause all your magazines to explode? :)

Sorry it only works to deactivate shields. You have been warned.  ;D

That one is easily avoided.  Just shoot any smallcraft that show up after being on the MIA list for 50+ years.
