Title: Hint needed

I have several of those 25,000,000+ ships floating around in my space including a couple of 'live' ones.

I only have 500 salvage level - can someone give me an idea of how many salvagers I will need to to salvage one?
I ma researching 750 salvage for  next class of ships - just don't want to tie up much need resources and a shipyard over building ships if I only need lie 12 or something not do I want to under build by building 20 such ships and then finding I need salvage 3000 and 50 ships....

Also has anyone captured a 'live' one and how many troops were needed?

It's not more salvage modules or rate that you need, but more cargo space. Lot's of cargo space. Though I've not managed to salvage one of these myself so I don't know how much.

I have captured one (http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php/topic,3425.msg33236.html#msg33236), I used four Heavy Assault Battalions but I think one would have been enough.
