Title: Load Mineral when XXX available order
Post by: Thibaut on August 13, 2011, 07:19:10 AM
I was expecting this to work as "load anything above the set mark", but it doesn't seem to work that way, it just loaded everthing.

Is anyone using it ? and how ?

Aurora waits until the specified amount of the mineral is available, and then loads that amount.

If you want to keep some minerals on a colony you can.  Open up the colony screen (F2) and go to the mining tab.  On the far right there is a column for establishing a minimum amount of a mineral.  Double click on it and type in the amount you want to keep of that mineral.

I'm pretty sure that only works for mass drivers, and not when a freighter is given orders to load minerals.

thx for the load xxx when available explanation.

And the reserve seems to be working fine for freighters too

It will work when freighters are loading minerals too. Its ideal when you want to set a freighter on a round trip to pick up excess minerals from several colonies.
