The Northern Kindoms Veronika Zacharias Geology Team discovered 100k tons of Corundium on Earth, this appears to be all that can be found

Feb 21, Northern Kingdom scientist Lothar Tell dies in an accident, this is a major blow to the scientific community at large as his theoretical knowledge of applying TN technology to ground combat units and logistics would have been invaluable.

NZDL scientist Carroll Eller is forced to retire as a number of health problems begin to effect her work.

LOL, Every damn game of Aurora I play the first thing that happens is I loose my good scientists. I think it must be hard coded into the game or something. :)
