Title: Time step and Civilians
Post by: Tarnak on August 31, 2011, 12:13:16 AM
I remember an old thread hxxp: aurora2.   pentarch.   org/index.   php/topic,3416.   0.   html

Edit: Old thread labeled "Time step and inconsistencies" from back in April.    Apparently it won't let me actually use links here.

It pointed out that civilians only update/launch on an increment rather than a sub-pulse.     Has there been any way found to mitigate this so that I can use the monthly increment and still have the civilians go about their business as normal rather than constantly just using the 1 day increment with auto turns on?

Or alternatively is there a way to configure which events stop the auto turns? I really don't need to know about the happiness on fresh colonies as it's almost constantly going up and down due to living space.

I'm guessing I need a certain post count then? I tend to be more of a lurker.

Yep. It's a spam prevention measure. Most spammers won't wait around and make valid posts long enough to get their required post count. :)
