My campaign has taken an odd turn. I am playing 5. 52 and I have met the pre-cursors and 3 other alien races. I cannot find the homeworlds, or any controlled planets or systems for these 3 alien races. In fact, I have followed one alien back through existing jump gates to where they supposedly originated from, but they are doing nothing. They have 35 ships clustered around some spot nowhere near a planet and are just sitting there. None of these aliens are doing anything.
I think I am just going to blow this last bunch up with my fleet and see what happens. Maybe they will run somewhere good. Anyone else have the same issue?

One possibility is that their homeworld has been blown to smithereens by other aliens and now their ships have nowhere to go. Clustering in deep space is strange, though.
