Hello,

I am pretty new to this game. . .  3 full real days in. . .  but i totally love it.

Hearby I just wanted to say. . .  Thank You Steve for this great game, I hope you give us some more years of patches and content. . .  heck I even would buy Aurora if it would be a commercial game

I had been thinking for some time now that it would be great if there was a way that I could contribute.  I feel kind of bad playing a 100% free game.

There are plenty of "free" sites out there that get paid for somehow: through ads, or in-game item or gear purchases.  I ran a free MMO out of my house for several years that was free with a voluntary donation option and without soliciting I collected more then enough to cover my expenses.  Even with free open source projects I am able to contribute in the form of content in various ways.  I know we are able to come up with ideas and write about them but that's not quite the same.

After someone asked about donations, Steve put up this:

From another thread in the Announcements...

If anyone wishes to donate anything for Aurora, it turns out you can send donations via paypal to my email address, which is stevewalmsley at btinternet.com (change at to @). Until this week I hadn't realised it was that easy :)

Steve

Of course, if anyone wishes to donate to the operating expenses of the forum, I take donations at eluken@pentarch.org :)
