Title: Can't open economic window plus error 713 MSSTDFMT

I've installed the game, however when I try to open the economic window it's invisible, I can see it open on the taskbar but not on the screen, the same happens with some other windows.

I'm also getting the error 713, missing MSSTDFMT. DLL, I can fix that myself but why is it missing in the first place? is it affecting the above?

on the game screen, under miscellaneous, click "Reset Window Positions".

Helpful if you let us know your Windows version and install directory. Installing Aurora to the Program Files in Windows 7 can cause issues.

It's missing because it's not a game file... it's a Microsoft Windows system file (MSSTDFMT.DLL means Microsoft Standard I/O Format Dynamically Linked Libraries). For some peculiar reason, that file is not included in some Windows 7 installs, but is included in others. In previous versions of Windows (eg: XP) it is pretty well always present in your original system install.
