Is it possible to design a ship with bot troop transport capabilities and combat drop pods, so that you can transfer the onboard marines from troop bays to drop pods?

Is it possible for a carrier to transfer marine company from it's troop bays to a onboard dropship's combat drop module?

And what does the "Tour" option mean in Leaders window? How many months they stay in service? Time they have to spend in their current rank untill they get a change of earning a promotion?

As I understand it, the tour of duty is the length of time before the AI auto-reassigns them.  It can get a little messy though. I like to manually flush the assignments once in a long while, when I notice primo warships having trouble getting commanders.
