Title: v6.10 Patch
Post by: Steve Walmsley on October 21, 2012, 12:39:04 PM
Important! This is a database patch so if you upgrade you will lose your saved game. Don't upgrade if you want to keep playing the same campaign.

This patch can only be applied to version 4.2 or later. To apply the patch, unzip Stevefire.mdb and Aurora.exe into the installation directory, overwriting two files, then copy the three small graphics files into the Planetjpeg sub-directory.

This is a bug-fix patch to correct issues in v6.00. There are still likely to be a few bugs so please report them in the new v6.10 bugs thread. Thanks to everyone who has helped to test v6.00.

This database in this patch contains my current Aurora campaign as an example game.

Steve

It still says 6.00 on the setup screen ;).

I'll check it out right now.

Anyone know any workarounds to get to the system info screen yet?

copy and paste two of the existing image files then rename them to what the missing files are. I forget exactly.

Or put the 3 images in the 6.1 patch into the folder.

The missing files are in the 6.1 patch, just move them into the correct folder and you are done.  No need for any extra effort.
