Title: Hyperdrive question

What is hyperdrive? Or rather, how does it work in the game? I read that it gives extra speed outside the hyper limit, so now I have researched the technology, but there seems to not be any new settings on the drop-downs relating to engines in the design research project window, nor anywhere else, where I can find it.

So how do I activate it?

IIRC steve said hyperdrive is not activated yet in 6.0

Has this changed for 6.21?
