Title: Grd Unit transfer to PDC

Are all GU on a planet considered to be stationed in a PDC once it's built on that planet or is it necessary to transfer them to the PDC?

IIRC ground units inside a PDC can't be hit from orbit (without blowing up the PDC), but don't accumulate any training.

Ok, but that didn't answer my question.

Does a PDC have to be designed with troop bays before you can transfer Ground units to it?

As for your follow up question, yes, the PDC needs to have troop bays, if you want it to house any troops

You can transfer your units to a PDC in the Ground Units section.

I was trying to transfer them before I had troop bays available.  Now I know better.
