MIKETR = Michael / MTROHDE
Hello All...
-
ELuken - Erik, lurker usually, admin of this particular site.
-
Steve Walmsley = Steve Walmsley (no imagination when it comes to aliases)
Thanks to Erik for setting all this up!
-
Tyrel Lohr = Tyrel Lohr
As with Steve, I don't tend to use a pseudonym of any sort. I am who I am, for good or ill (probably ill!).
I will refrain from shameless plugs and just say "good luck!" with the forums. There are advantages to the mailing lists, but I have warmed up to web forums a bit in the last 6 years or so. Just remember to do a database backup fairly regularly, so that you don't lose things.
-Tyrel

Maybe I'm just old but I've always seen it as a sign of maturity just to use my name rather than some grandious handle.
Symon - Symon
-
...I think I'm the youngling of the group, at 21. Therefore, I, Henry J. Thiel = Summercat = Bengaley = Arlenecohen@cox.net
So nyah!
-
Father Tim = Bigrin Da Troll
Both RPG characters of mine, and as a result both names are fairly well-known to different online communities.
-
wildfire142 = old Pc of mine and my handle on most boards because i can remember it. normally a Lurker.
-
opps didn't realise guest could post, though I was logged in.

I am just myself. Kevin Stubbs
-
Lynn/coldsteel in the house.
-
Kurt = Kurt = Kurt
I figure that is enough <G>.
-
To add to the theme of us old..err...mature senior types.
Never mind.....
Charlie Beeler is well Charlie Beeler. I'm also known on various boards as SR_Crewchief from my days in Army Aviation.
-
opps didn't realise guest could post, though I was logged in.
I fixed that... Guests may read all, but only logged in and registered users may post/reply
-
Shinanygnz = Stephen Cooke
One of my cats. Always use it as no-one else spells it that way and my name is usually already being used and I can't abide Stephen5137 or whatever suffix or prefix gets auto-generated
-
Edsel = Eddie Sells
Long time Starfire Player and professional lurker. I do post occasionally and have run Starfire campaigns in the past. Just lurking here to keep up with the latest developements with Aurora and SF Assistant.
-
Troy, finally felt good enough to get online, see what I get for not paying attention for a few days. ;)
-
ZimRathbone = Mike Thomas
Like a few others, an old RPG character & well established alias elsewhere
-
Mavikfelna=Mark F. Anderson
Been using the Mavik Felna handle since high school some 20+ years ago when he was a role-playing persona.
Anyone in the SLC, UT, USA area? I need to get a few Ultra battles fought.
-
jackbrownii = Jack Brown.
I use that login for nearly everything I've signed up for online.
-
Welchbloke= Andy Smith
Because I'm Welsh (note the old english spelling in the moniker) and I'm male
Long time Starfire/SFB player and forum lurker.
-
Mike Dennis...usually I lurk on the list, but answering roll call
-
MWadwell = Matthew Wadwell.
Opinionated, annoying, and Australian. (Well, one good feature out of 3 isn't bad..... )

I was waiting for it.....

Being a big Conan and Norse mythos fan, I just had to call myself Thorgrimm after the Conan nemesis. And when I use the short version I go by the Norse diety I like the best, Thor.
Thorgrimm = Ken Dickinson
Cheers, Thorgrimm

Greetings Earthlings. Zuluwiz here, aka Rick. Does this mean the Yahoo board is dead and gone?
-
Dodger=Jeff Pueppka, knickname I got deployed to Central and South America in the 80's.
-
We'll see how it goes. Everyone seems to be posting here now but I know one or two prefer the Yahoo group. There are advantages and disadvantages to this forum but it seems a lot cleaner in terms of formatting and prevents the off-topic and large quotes problems.
The only issue I have so far is that if I don't have time to reply to emails I can read them and then mark them unread. With this forum, you can look at messages that have been posted since you last visited but there is no way to make them 'unread' if you don't have time to reply.
On balance though, the advantages seems to outweigh that disadvantage.

I'll see if I can find a mod for that too.

rmcrowe = robert m crowe (I know, too easy) also sometimes (especially in the days of the 3DG) known as sfmaillist, after my Yahoo address since Yahoo lost the original address.
ex-aerospace guy (yes, real rockets, and their software), Starfire player and tournament champion since first edition, and sometime editor.

kedrake = Kerry Drake (from deep dark depth of lurkdom).

Gotta have some reward for being an over-posting goob... :D Damn spell checker....
And as to my rank, perhaps something as logical as the board program recognises brilliance when it sees it.....

Must be the saltpeter...

Tobasco Sauce > Australia.

Methinks this thread has wandered a bit OFF TOPIC, even for here in the Off Topic.
robert
-
And why not? It is off topic after all.

Mostly because the label says Roll Call, not insult your country.

It's something I created from World of Warcraft, when Chuck NOrris jokes reigned supreme:
Chuck Norris > Tobasco Sauce.
-
Mostly because the label says Roll Call, not insult your country.
robert
But we're not insulting OUR countries, just Matt's... <duck>

RoguePhoenix or RogueWolf = Ryan Hoover
Mostly just lurking cause I'm too busy looking for something to do with the really expensive piece of paper I just aquired. But will try to be a little more active as I find time.

Make a paper airplane?
-
Make a paper airplane? :lol: Yeah but then it won't fit into the gold plated buisness card holder the other half of my tuition paid for.
-
Make a smaller paper airplane?
-
Geesh why is everybody obsessed with turning my diploma into an expensive paper airplane. I need it for my nascent "I love me wall". It's not like I have any pictures signed by celebrities.
-
Given the state of the art in "celebrities", I don't think I would want to put any of their pictures on MY wall.
robert

Seems the off-topic got itself off topic.
Admiral Suffern = Captain Wow = Jonathan Reid
-
What were we talking about?
-
President Elect Shang == Edward Smoker Sr
Long story how I came about that name, had it for years first in AOL then at Shrapnel Forums. Hay look my first post here! Time for a drink!
-
Ermm.... well, I should post at some point, I guess.
I've used this handle everywhere, so here seems appropriate as well.
Real name is Craig Barnett, and I've been playing starfire as far back as the little ziplock books in the 80's. I've been away a bit recently, and feel the need to get back into my favourite game of all time.
-
I know this is the roll call thread, but I have been off line for some time. Had to refind everything and start over5, one computer died, the other is too old to run anything. Soooooooo...guess I'll just keep lurking for now. Be well all and Merry Christmas
-
I hadn't seen this before, so I guess I will chime in. I am trying to ressurect an old SF game, as people on the SA boards have noticed. As for having an old computer, I have stuff that can run under Windows 3.1, so maybe your computer is not that helpless...

Mikew = Mike Williamson. Mainly a lurker, posting because I'm getting emails threatening to delete me for inactivity...

The emails that went out were an automated process, with default messages. I promise no one will get deleted unless that is their wish, or they start spamming for viagra or other stuff.
I have since changed the content of the messages. The purpose is to remind people who may have forgotten or don't visit. Not to browbeat people into posting or be deleted. If anyone who received one of the emails wishes to discuss it, email me and we'll talk it out.
