Title: Is there a way to revover my Shipyard TG?
Post by: Griswel on February 28, 2014, 11:14:57 AM
First, I'm enjoying the game quite a bit even though I haven't gotten that far yet.   I stranded a ship in space then recovered it all on my own <crowd noise>

Here's my trouble:

I accidentally sent my Shipyard TG to Sorium bearing gas giants (even though the only ship was a colony ship).   I had trouble getting it to move back (I think I had built new ships into it, ignoring the "are you sure" popup).   So to fix the problem I blew up the empty colony ship, figuring my empty Shipyard TG would go home.   Of course, now it's still at Jupiter containing wreckage which cannot move.

Is there a way to recover from this?  I don't mind starting over in this case as I'd make fewer mistakes, but if possible I'd like to be able to build new ships etc.   What happens when my ships are built into the distant TG?  Can I cancel the builds and destroy the TG?  Or I guess, how do I restore my Shipyard TG so I can start making new mistakes?

Thanks

Why not use SM mode and move the offending TG to where you need it?

Thanks.    Is there the equivalent of an "Instant" button for TG movement?  I'll poke around in SM mode but any practical tips would be appreciated.

Third tab of the TG window. Right side. Middle/toppish.
