Title: System 0
Post by: davidr on September 07, 2014, 07:12:07 AM
v6.43

Getting the following information using SM mode in the Events Log

"2nd September 2069 03:39:03,SM Only,System 0,Increment length adjusted as a ship is within firing range"

Can anyone advise what is meant by "System 0" - why isn't the actual system named where the action is taking place. I need to find out if the System is one that I have located so as to use warp bubble if necessary.

Sol has system index number 0, so you might try warp bubbling it.

Do any of the event log messages reference an actual name? I can't think of any technical reason why "System 0" couldn't also be a valid name string, except that I've never heard of a system naming list that contains that one.

sublight,

Thanks , I found the info on Sol as system 0 in the Galactic map menu . I must admit to not using many of these menu items.

I now get an Error message " Error in DamageControl. Error 5 was generated by Aurora. Invalid procedure call or argument".

This must refer to an NPR vessel in my system. Anyone know why this error message occurs?
