Just wondering if there is any way to SM add new ships & PDC's to a game? So far I cannot see any button for it so I am forced to build a tiny verson with the minimum amount of stuff, then use the SM mode to unlock/lock the design thus refitting those already built. The problem this leaves me with is two fold, firstly I have to put each and every ship/pdc though a replenish crew order (troubling when a pdc cannot make any kind of move orders). Secondly for some reason every now and again a PDC doesn't seem to properly refit itself and wants to become a ship instead, this means I end up with a massive AFR instead of the zero it should be.

Go to the game bar, click on Space Master, and click on Fast OB Creation. You have to be in SM mode of course.

No problem. Turns out not only does that exist BUT you get starting ship and PDC budgets in each game in which to SM ships and PDCs.
