I'm an utter newbie so forgive any ignorance
I can integrate a refuel at colony order into a series of commands but have very little feel for how long things take.
Does refueling always take the same length of time?
Is it based on how much fuel has to be loaded?
Assume I'm moving 1000 of something to the moon.
The ship I'm using can make all of the trips without refueling.
Is the time taken to complete the orders any longer for
a ship with a mission that has 1000 load at Earth/unload at Luna orders followed by 1 refuel order
or
one that has 4 sets of 250 load at Earth/unload at Luna orders followed by a refuel at Earth order after each set?
I find the conditional order for refueling is a bit awkward. It generates a game stop which may not really be all that necessary. So I'm curious.

As far as I know refueling (alongside resupplying ordinance or MSP) are completed instantaneously so just queue them up whenever you happen to be at a colony with fuel.

As stated fueling is an instant thing. The only types of "cargo" that require any time to load/unload are to my knowledge:
1. Plain stuff in cargo holds, ie installations, minerals, or PDC components
2. Troops

And
3. Colonists in cryogenic transports.
