Title: Can military ships use civilian jump engine?
Post by: iche_bins on March 14, 2016, 05:17:38 PM
As asked in the title, can they?

Edit: To clarify, in this case it is one military ship using one civilian jump engine.

They should be. As it was explained to me, the only limit is the type of Engine (not Jump Engine). See below http://aurorawiki.pentarch.org/index.php?title=Jump_Tender

it is more accurate to think of it as a commercial jump drive, not civilian;  you can make military vessels that use commercial-rated engines and jump drives.
