Title: No medals bar?

I've seen screenshots where there is a medal bar below the officers' main attribute area. I'm running 7.1 but I don't have this bar. What's wrong here?

You will only see it with officers who have been awarded medals. Which you have to create and then award yourself - the game does not handle them automatically.

I handed them out by the cartload. Still no medals bar.
