Title: Initial OOB??

One thing I'm a little fuzzy on, unclear vs small aborial aliens  :D , is what to use for a guideline for initial OOB creation.  As well as initial ordinance and/or fighter stockpiles.

I don't recall this being addressed before.  Most likely I just missed it in passing.

I believe the guide is 2 years production. This is stated in one of the later pop-ups during race creation.

Though, I tend to go with 1000 missiles of each type, 100 fighters of each type (if they exist), and 10 survey ships, 5 cargo, 5 colony, and 8-15 armed ships (depends on starting pop, and is fluid).

Thanks Erik.  I see it now.   Knew it had to be something obvious.  I'd been skimming that pop-up instead of reading it through.

I think a good idea for Steve to implement would be saying something along the lines of "You have xx bp for missiles, yy bp for fighters" etc.

I have added a new field to the Create OOB window which shows a suggested BP figure. This is on the same lines as the Starting Tech Points and will reduce as you add ships using the Create OOB window. The starting BP amount is based on Slipways x 1000 BP.
