Title: interview alien ? :/

So , hello i'm new here and i have a question , how do you interview alien ? I have captured some of them , except that I was afraid that if I put the aliens in my capital , they die because it was not the same atmosphere or they mingle in my population suddenly I dissected the aliens to know their preference and I terraform a planet for them then I drop them on the planet and I put my spy team but nothing !! How it works ? I'm lost  and another question, how enslaving alien population?

You can't interview them. For simplicities sake, they are automatically interviewed for everything they know as soon as you capture them.

The POWs are useless in this game.
