This is my first Carrier
Is there anything wrong with it before I tool the line?
(Constraints - <13000 tons, must have 20 billion range, and 4000 km/s. )

Sauve Syndicate Active Search Sensor MR80-R100 (1) GPS 16000 Range 80.0m km Resolution 100
This design is classed as a Military Vessel for maintenance purposes
The intention is that this will carry 10 Fighter bombers in operations (Other ships will be the primary sensor and provide escort) and a secondary role of fighter transport and missile transport.

Missile to hit chances are vs targets moving at 3000 km/s, 5000 km/s and 10,000 km/s

Once I get more fighters online I may build a missile specific to the 48.0m km range of the fighter missile control, as right now the Talon missile is my standard anti-ship missile.

No flight crew berths on the carrier is the big one. With 10 fighters with 2 crew each, you should have 20 berths on the carrier. Pretty easily fit on a spare crew quarters and still keep it under your 13kt limit though.
Maintenance life of 2 years and an intended deployment of 6 months is a mismatch, but that may be deliberate.
I'd stick a very small res-1 sensor on the carrier just so the CIWS isn't blind if something happens to the escort, but that might just be me.

The mismatch is intentional.
How do you add extra births?

How do you add extra births?
Tick the 'Keep excess Q" box in the design window. Add crew births as you would normal modules.
Thoughts on carrier; Should have some passive sensors (even a strength 2-3 with double/triple current passive detection range). I recommend another CIWS or two (they don't need any sensors). Should use fewer but larger engines.
Fighter/Bomber; Not enough firepower. Should add either some small gauss or another box launcher or two (a size 4 box launcher is 30 tons if I remember right)(also make sure the box launcher reload tech is set at 1 because there is no bonus to increasing it but it does add more cost).

Thanks! births added.
I can add sensors, can't add more CIWS due to weight limits. Since I upping the fighters to having 2 box launchers, I went with a single reload in the magazines to save some space. The larger engines I have can't meet the tonnage requirements.
Here is the new Carrier.

I would personally drop the CIWS completely. If the carrier comes under fire and your escorts can't provide enough point defense then a little CIWS wont help anyway.
A question on the stated range: Is it intended that the carrier sould be able to make a round trip of 20bkm and conduct a fighter operation somewhere in between? If so, you'll probably want to add more fuel tanks to resupply the fighters after they come back from their sortie.
90 magazine space seems a bit small - are you intending to have colliers come along with your fleet? If so, you might consider using the magazine space for other modules instead.
