In 2.6.0, no water vapour in Earth atmosphere at the very beginning (no turns played so far).
Is it WAI, and it will appear in the next turn(s)?
I don't remember what happened in the previous versions.

It appears later as you progress. It worked same way in previous versions, I checked 2.5.1 and there is no vapour on game start.

Whats the way to do a non-Sol start?

Start normal game in Sol and set a SM mode. Then in System Generation and Display window use Create Habitable button. This will make star system with habitable planet. Select habitable planet and use Create Race button. Now you can delete Sol star system. You can of course tweak the created star system in SM mode to add planets and so on.

So, in that case, do you delete your original race after you make the new one?

It appears later as you progress. It worked same way in previous versions, I checked 2.5.1 and there is no vapour on game start.

Thank you, Black.
May I ask if the water vapour value is it calculated during the turn, or is it in the DB? in the second instance, why isn't it shown when the game is created?

Its calculated based on the environmental parameters, especially the temp. The reason why it doesn't exist in the game start is because none of those calculations have had a chance to run yet so you just have the base atmosphere.

I've been using a colony populated entirely via Ark Module to construct forced labour camps. However, I can't find a way to reduce the resulting unrest. Ground troops seem to have no effect, as there is no "police protection" field on the colony, which I suppose makes sense... Though, it might be fun if troops aboard the Ark ships contributed. Anyone have solutions? Also, is this WAI that the construction of FLC doesn't consume population aboard Arks?

Class Design window - Priorities/Misc tab. There is a box on the left side of the window, where you can set it up and Instant Build button to generate the ship.

I beleive the only influence you have on the placement of CMC's is to have a population of over 10 million in the system then that system will be considered at the same rate as your home system. The criteria for selecting mining sites is I believe some combination of Duranium or Galicite. I find that once I have a 10 million pop in a system mining sites turn up reasonably quickly
