Event log text file
« on: June 17, 2012, 05:16:11 PM »
I can't seem to find the text file where aurora dumps the events log when you press "text file". I recall having seen it somewhere before, can anyone tell me where it's supposed to be?

Check in the root of the install DRIVE for a logs directory.

Ok, I found the folder, but I can't seem to match up any of the files as one I actually saved. there is a bunch called Y1, Y2, etc. up to 25, I assume that is by year and there is a folder inside there with the same name as the game, but there is nothing inside that folder and no dump that seems to be specific to when I told it to dump.

Maybe delete all the files, then dump the log again. Or check the files creation dates for the approximate time/date you dumped the log.

Try in the main Aurora folder - there should be a text file called "HumanEventLog" which contains the dumped text - not however in date order.

There isn't. I'm not playing as humans anyway though, but there's none for my race either.

How can I stop the log dumping? It's writing megabytes of stuff in C:\logs, and I assume this takes more time than it's worth at the moment.

Oh, and is there any way for my damage control teams to repair a ship with no engineering spaces left?
