1st August
In the EU research finishes into increased construction speed. After a lengthy (3 days) debate in the house it is decided to research ways to make shipyards expand and retool faster and cheaper

6th September
The Republic finishes research into missile agility. Bill Nye decides to continue research in this field

11th September
The first F-36 Wasp is finished. The Republic celebrates having the first space capable warship of the Solar powers (although it cannot fire until it’s base is constructed). The Republic consider sending it on a tour of the planets of Sol but the other powers object to it flying over their worlds so the planed trip is canned

1st October
The Commonwealth finishes it’s shipyard. Celebration is muted as they are far behind most of the other Solar powers. As per usual when a faction finishes it’s shipyard ship plans are created

The Victory class cruiser is The Commonwealth’s main missile combatant. It has both superior range and firepower to it’s EU counterpart (but the Commonwealth won’t know that for sure). In battle it will bombard the enemy from range then withdraw when out of ammunition.

The Tribal is The Commonwealth’s missile defence cruiser. Capable of firing 30 AMMs every 5 seconds it will shred enemy missiles in combat. It’s one weakness is it’s lack of missile detection sensors (these are mounted on another vessel)

The EU finishes research into shipyard operations. As per the act that commissioned the research they continue researching the topic (fun fact: to ensure the passing of the act in the council it contains a provision to spend 200 million euros subsidising farmers in Bulgaria. This was to ensure the Bulgarian councilman voted for it)

26th January
The Republic designs a new fighter

The F-37 Hawkeye is designed to provide sensor coverage in a fighter sized package. In battle it will travel with the fighters and spot the target for them. It will be independent of the fighter squadrons

26th March
The Republic finishes missile agility research and begins research into new missile warheads

6th April
The Commonwealth has a breakthrough in its research into Stellarator Fusion Reactor. They immediately begin trying to find a way to make this into an engine. The public is oblivious to this as the military classifies the research. The new engine is projected to be finished in 2035

6th July
The Empire finishes training of a heavy assault brigade. A company based in the republic named Pear establishes a mining colony on the moon of Pluto.

16th August
The Empire finishes production of a Trump Missile Defence PDC on Luna. The ‘fake news’ alleges that the Empire is behind the EU in the department of land based AMM PDCs, but celebrations in the rose garden go ahead all the same. Construction is begun on another shipyard

6th October
The Republic unlocks the mysteries of increased fighter production. They now switch focas to making their labs more efficient.

21st November
Haynes Shipping in the Republic has launched a new freighter. It will probably have nothing to do as the republic only owns one planet. Therefore, a Republic negotiating team works out a deal for trade access with The Commonwealth. Both sides also agree to send teams to the other nation to help keep the relationship healthy.

26th November
The EU holds House, Council and Presidential elections. Most of the electorate is happy with the direction the country is going and the government is re-elected with a slightly increased majority in the House. The EU also finishes its shipyard operations research and begins trying to increase their mine output

26th January 2033
The Empire makes its engines yet more fuel efficient. The Emperor is not satisfied though and orders further study. On the holy Twitter he stated that “Empire still not energy independent, SAD!!!”

6th February
ISIS finishes research into missile warhead 4 per MSP. They begin researching increased fuel efficiency. A new missile is designed
