How to double click a component in ship design using screen reader

Hello I’m blind and I’m new to Syria 4x

I am trying to design a ship and when I tab to and try and hit enter key or space bar twice  on a ship component to add it to the ship design.  It doesn’t seem to add it.

My sighted friend used a mouse to double click the component and that added it to the ship

How does a screen reader user do this using keyboard shortcuts

Probably the same way you would double-click anything else?

I don’t use a mouse and screen readers are keyboard based and usually to select something I would tab to it and hit enter or space however it doesn’t seem to select the component

There are others who have played Aurora with a screen reader. Hopefully one of them will speak up.
