Title: Ammo for Gauss cannons

I have tried to search but i cannot fint anything about it, i have mainly used laser ships, but i want to try Gauss cannons as PDS, so i am now also using that, but i dont know if they need ammo of some sort? it doest say in the wiki.

There is no ammo for those weapons.

beam weapons do not use ammo, the only thing that uses ammo is missiles
