Title: Bug discussion (Not for bug reports)
Post by: ollobrains on August 24, 2011, 03:44:52 PM
if steve ever comes back seems his vanished into the internet void.  Sure hope he does.  Perhaps once he has a more stable version that could be upgraded to the new install to reduce the need for ongoing patching, dont hold much hope this project seems to be past its prime

Just remember, Steve is doing this on his own, for no pay. He is kind enough to let us play with his toys. Aurora works on Steve-Time ;)

Um, his last update was only two weeks ago...

How the hell does that qualify for "vanished into the internet void"?

Some people voids are not as big as others. I remember when I was a kid, grounded for a day seemed like years.

Be prepared for a long wait.  Not saying there will be one, but as Erik alluded there are times that real life (and other events) have imposed extended absences.

Besides, he's now an Englishman in the land of the Manx!!   ;D

I noted his activity is greater on the weekends, but he occasionally misses them.  Its could possibly be maddening at times, reading every bug report and every suggestion.

BESIDES, WE STILL HAVE EACHOTHER.

I don't see how 2 patches this month = past it's prime?

There are regularly long pauses between updates as Steve does other things, didn't he say he was back playing EVE a little while ago?

Yeah he did; I suspect my own incessant and occasionally non sequitor posting will be interrupted when SHPACE MAREEN comes out on sept 6 (the demo is awesomesauce).

non-sequitar posting is the best kind of posting in my opinion

Just popping in from the internet void to say Hi :)

Also, I unstickied this topic. Sticky should only be used for game-related announcements, patches, etc.
