So I want boarding combat, would these work and what should I add to Apollo class?

t=1s please see this video for your answer and you need boarding capable troop transports to be able to board.

You need powered infantry armour first and then you need to research boarding capability and for troop transport bays you need to research the normal ones first and have boarding capability to research boarding capable ones.

You only need a Boarding Capable Troop Transport. However, only infantry formations can conduct boarding actions.

In regards to your boarding shuttle.
I'd say it is too slow. It should be 3-5x faster than the carrier in order to catch a target (unless you plan on only boarding motionless ships).
Additionally, I'd argue you will want some armor.

your speed is actually pretty impressive for nuclear pulse, but to land this dropship you will need to hurt them pretty bad first, hopefully to at least half your speed, unless you have really badass and disposable marines.
