Very well written.  Would love to see more.

Oh, if you people notice any typos, please do tell me - I sometimes miss things. I was thinking of moving on to the unit designs next, but is anyone interested in a page about the mechanics of the distortion engine?

+1 to propulsion mechanics, please and thank you. If its anything like the matsci breakdown of condensed/variable-phase material properties of TN elements, then hell yeah!

Are you open to some commentary / further extrapolation on the theoretical, structural, and behavioral models of individual transphasic materials...? The following are merely the personal interpretations and observations of a curious layman. Any misinterpretations of ill-understood scientific concepts via ignorance and-or poetic license are my fault and responsibility alone:

I particularly enjoy the way you've constructed a coherent model out of various theories by taking the best of each and refining them into a unified system. I'm quite interested in how your baryonic lattices contain what sounds like electrically-neutral stable polymeric WIMPs?

It sounds like bits of your TransPhasic Matter (TPM?) lore takes inspiration from various dark matter hypotheses: namely WIMPs; alongside dark matter halos, quantum chromodynamics / chiral pertubation, and numerous others.

For lack of better terminology, a combination of Superfluid vacuum theory and electromagnetic suspension comes to mind when visualizing the potential interaction between captive WIMP/dark matter "core"; the lattice host "shell", or "manifold"; the "null" space between the;, and anything beyond the physical "shell" - up to the limits of whichever combination of forces dictate their combined "transphasic" behavior.

For Superfluid vacuum theory, I mean the idea that curved spacetime is the minute collective excitation of a superfluid background, exhibited in both "macro" (universe) and "micro" (local) scales; which might induce / explain various behaviors within and beyond the physical volume of the shell/manifold's "null" space; and how these could accurately govern the relation between material, its expressed properties, and thus a given field. (ie: Sorium-fuel/Gallicite-propulsion/Corrundium-TPM extraction and-or catalyzation/tritanium-fission/boronide-fusion/etc)

Since WIMPs interact via the weak nuclear force (W & Z bosons) and-or an even weaker fundamental force yet unknown - theoretically dictated by an undiscovered boson; or something more exotic altogether - and under certain conditions your crystal manifold may function as a host container reminiscent of magnetic or magneto-optical anti-matter containment systems... The stable containment of a WIMP core within such a matrix might hypothetically "shield" or nullify the "expression" of one or more forces, perhaps while allowing for another to do its thing. Maybe even be amplified, who knows? Its your fiction, not mine :)

One might further extrapolate the nature of individual TPMs in accordance with self-organized criticality versus the nature of the early universe:

Since WIMPs are most likely a dark matter relic thermally produced during the the early stages of the universe; interact weakly with electromagnetic radiation; move slowly in reference to the speed of light (220 km/s); and extant WIMPs would be the remains of dark matter-antimatter equilibrium following a period of mutual annihilation, almost like a dark matter "faraday cage" (electrostatic equilibrium)...

And such a naturally-occuring self-organizing crystal matrix like you describe would typically have risen much later in the universe's lifespan... Perhaps you can extrapolate dark matter / WIMPs' unknown forces as having acted upon and contributed to the formation of these crystalline hosts, similar to how our universe's first stars were formed between the advent of the cosmic background radiation (400,000 years after the Big Bang; mostly uniform distribution of matter gradually redshifting into a colder, darker state) and 1 billion years aBB when galaxies and quasars were first observed to exist...

Since the small-scale density fluctuations present in the cosmic background radiation are believed to be the "seeds" of the earliest protogalaxies formed primarily from dark matter still capable of congregating and interacting with sparse "regular" matter... We can surmise that some unknown function of the behavior of dark matter via protogalactic formation was integral the evolution of modern galaxies and their constituent structures (stars, planets, etc.)... And since the period between 400,000 and 1 billion years after Big Bang displays a reversal of matter-dark matter localization via the concentration of uniformly distributed matter and outward migration, "radiation", "expulsion", or simply mass-annihilation of dark matter from, during, or following primordial protogalaxy creation...

You *could* kinda argue that Transnewto- ... transphasic materials are the condensed remnants of extant matter-dark matter hybrid relics of the early universe's protogalactic formation and gradual matter aggregation in which some large masses of dark matter self-annihilated into a state of equilibrium and became subsequently trapped and encircled by regular matter, all thanks to their oddly fluid relationship during the unique nature of the early universe - and gravity. Woo, gravity!

Perhaps during the period of "reversal" of the "natural order" between when dark matter achieved the equilibrium necessary to spawn WIMPs - and dark matter's transition from the unstable self-annihilating condensate "core" of protogalaxies being displaced by matter thanks to the more coherent and powerful weak and strong forces - is when transphasic matter came into existence.

This would conveniently explain why, for example, Sorium is terrestrially sparse but readily found in dense gas giants... So on and so forth.

Love the detail you put into this, looking forward to more.

From reading the articles, they are a handful but also really amazing that you made this your own lore and it all is consistent together and you explain it well,, so really its up to you if you want to go that detailed, I certainly do respect and enjoy that level of detail ^^

Interesting start, so many people doing "united" earth something hahaha, me included, do you plan to do a normal report way of doing things for updates or do you plan to do it like these articles? also what about ship designs and the like, keep up the work, looks good coming from a fellow AAR writer.

Thanks! I plan to integrate a bunch of formats together to mix things up. I need to write up maybe one or two more terepedia articles, and then I'll move on to unit designs. Good luck with yours, too!

You will have just two races, the UNE (this is the name I always give to my empire  ;D ;D) and the venusians, correct?

That is correct. The Sublime Venusian Mandate will be an NPR.

Like the start. Random question: Why the locations for the international organisations? E.g. SG for the UN, Sydney for the ICJ.

I've updated the United Nations post to be a bit more detailed. Please do take a look. New York and the Hague are both radioactive craters in this timeline, so the United Nations had to move elsewhere. Singapore was selected because it's within the Commonwealth and it's a major trading port. Sydney was selected because you don't want to put all your eggs in a single basket. The eight largest sovereign states of Earth all have their own International Court of Justice, the one in Sydney is just highest in the heirarchy.
