Please describe anything you did or clicked on before the error messages appeared.

Did you manage to run Aurora on a previous version of windows?
Mostly out of curiosity, did you install windows 11 as an upgrade to windows 10 or as a fresh install?

There is a small chance that compatibility mode might fix the problem.
Right click aurora.exe and click properties.
Go to the Compatibility tab and enable compatibility for Windows 10.
Try starting Aurora again.

Admin note: it's traditional to report bugs in the bugs forum.
Also as far as I know Windows 11 is not yet released to the general public, which raises questions and invites the inevitable "hobby project, no guaranteed support" response.

Make sure you don't use the apostrophe character. I'm not certain Steve has sanitized that yet.

Windows 11 is basically just a UI update of windows 10 and a few other features, so I'd be somewhat surprised if it caused issues.

What did you do in the increment before this happened? It complains about some input string (string = text). Did you enter something somewhere with invalid characters?

Sometimes there's commander naming schemes that have leftover broken characters attached to them, maybe that could be causing an issue.

Hello.

This is the first time ever i got errormessages when trying to play Aurora, maybe it has something to do with windows 11? its a clean install of the OS and Aurora4x i get errormessages

483 the input string was invalid
142 object reference is not set to an object instance
138 object reference is not set to an object instance
139 object reference is not set to an object instance

Not sure if the text is 100% correct because i have used google translate, because OS is on my native language.

Hope someone can help me, so i dont have to install windows 10 again.
