Title: *Discussion* China Unbound
Post by: AlqVeers on July 09, 2016, 02:39:42 AM
And here we go,

The idea I am running with here is a slower game, NPR generation is set to 5/15 respectively. And starting from basic technolgy working upwards. China will be played as a rapid grower, so I expect research to continue at a quick pace until the higher tiers and limited research labs factor in. Resources will restrict the rapid growth as well.

Why China? (again), My partner is Chinese and I am wanting to learn, so in-between working two jobs and study, I might as well theme the game and learn a little this way. And she enjoys reading the little bits I produce, so that's a bonus.

I'm planning on making more Yearly entries, with sub-entries as required for certain events. So let's see how it all goes. :)

At least I can't transfer the entire population around and muck myself up (yet).

It would be nice if I could focus and continue it. I have about another 7 years in game ready and mostly written, but work keeps me away from games and my other hobbies have also been rather busy.

But thanks for posting Drgong, hope the community game is going well and I look forward to catching up with it.

That took a few days to try and sort out, I had lots of notes made but nothing written up. And even though i haven't played in ages, I haven't written in longer. So naturally, poor.

I'm finding that it's a lot harder to write while playing, and to enjoy it. Its easy to have the ideas floating around in your head, but not so much putting it to paper and to play the game with it in mine.

Hope you enjoy. As this is all from a pretty in-experienced players perspective, you'll continue to note this in how I write and how the game plays out.

Thanks again for stopping by.
