suggestion:

Writing after playing C aurora for a bit:

you totally need to: implement kind of "autoresolve" for NPR vs. NPR fights. Because I honestly do not care how fights far away from my empire end.
having constant 5s long increments is extremely unplayable, in C aurora it seems that there is no SM option to manually delete NPR ships plus having detection turned off does not help.
It could be also 2 NPR ships firing at each other not beign able to penetrate shields, or an ifinite loop.

Also: twice2double C aurora UI mod is awesome.

suggestion 2: add update tech button to technology view basically opening exisitng researched component with same attributes but lets say updated tech I mean something to click and research a new version of that same PD beam fire control. I believe it is understandable.

I started an empire on a nebula system and thod about the armor relation to speed. I think it would be better to tie speed to shield amount in relation to ship size.
Technobabble wise shields would be deflecting dust and has that would destroy any armor in enoigh time. Gameplaywise, shields are seldom useful and this could be a way to make them more relevant.
