'This design is classed as a Planetary Defence Centre and can be pre-fabricated in 522 sections'

Colonel Bob Semple of the 32nd extra-solar construction corps woke drenched in a cold sweat.  "Just another bad dream. . . " he murmured to himself as he splashed himself with water from the sink.  There was a sudden, short knock at the door.  "Enter" the colonel ordered.  The young face of his aide strode in, handing the colonel a data slab: "orders sir, straight from HQ. " "Well let's have a look then. " The colonel gasped.  "Oh God" he whispered softly, falling to his knees before collapsing into the fetal position, tears steaming down his face.

Better get to work. . .

Jokes aside, my only (useful) comments would be to point out that the Aggressor missile has about double the range of its fire control and sensor and that the regional command base holds a brigades worth, rather than a divisions worth of troops, but I might be misreading it's description.

@YABG

 - Regional Command houses command elements for other units. so one Divisional HQ, and four Brigade HQs. It's command staff for a division, not the division itself. You would assign units to the HQs formation, then put only the HQs into the PDC, then fight with the actual combat units. In peacetime (or rather when NOT under ground attack), the Regional class is good for putting commanders w/ high Ground Unit Training ratings to train formations before they are transferred to a commander with a high Ground Unit Combat bonus. Finally, the Regional can direct loose units not normally assigned to an HQ, like local Garrisons.

 - I'm also of the understanding that M-FCS range diminishes like Search Sensors when something is smaller than the Resolution of it, I could be wrong about that, but do know for a fact that ECM reduces M-FCS range by a percentage. I don't have any ECM/ECCM equipped ships, but my empire has the tech, and would assume the filthy xenos might have it too.

 - Likewise, the Aggressor ASM devotes 0.9 MSP of it's mass to Active Search Sensors with a Resolution of 125, so it can be fired at contacts acquired by the massive EM /TH Passive Sensors.

Addendeum: FOOL! THE MIGHTY BOB SEMPLE CAN CRUSH ALL! 522 PRE-FABRICATED SECTIONS ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO CORRUGATED ARMOR! Not to mention enough machine guns to slaughter infantry by the regiment. FEAR THE BOB SEMPLE!

Well these are the very definition of gargantuan  8)

Personally, I would split them all up to smaller and more specialised designs, and the just build sufficient numbers at each colony as per need, but you do you!

With 1.5 trillion pop, 8,000 Construction Factories, 8,000 Ordnance Factories and 8,000 Fighter Factories I can crank these out like popcorn.

That said I am using smaller versions for my colonies, as at some point I intend to grant them independence and run a Confederacy... I don't want those planets having bigger and / or better guns than me when I do it though...
