After 8 years of duty, the survey vessel UNF Prometheus finishes it's survey mission on the solar system. It's commander, Commodore Sophia Blake receive the "Sol Medal" an award given for her service to mankind.
The Prometheus will be refitted and Captain Junior Kochert will be its new commander.
The scan of the solar system revealed 6 jump points.

The UNF Perseus is finished and launched from Earth, it's the first ship able to explore jump points. It's commanded by Commander Peggy Zhang.

Perseus enters the Alpha Centauri binary system, its crew are the first humans to explore a system outside Sol. It's contact is then lost because of the interference of the jump point. Knowns that the Federal authorities gives the ship 1 year time to return to the Sol System.
Perseus sensors catch an emission near the planet Alpha Centauri-A V.

Perseus discover that Alpha Centauri-A V is colonizable like Mars.

Perseus, orbiting Alpha Centauri-B III refers that the planet is inhabited by a sentient pre-industrial race of humanoid reptiles. They will be called "Centaurians".

Perseus emerges from the jump point and revealed its sensational discovery.
The Federation send a shuttle with a mix of scientist and diplomats lead by the starfleet Lieutenant Commander Casey Studer trying to contact the Centaurians.

Perseus enters the Barnards Star System, discovering that the planet Barnards Star-A II is colonizable via infrastructure.

The Baleares, the first jump gate contruction ship is sent to Alpha Centauri jump points to build a gate able to connect the two systems without the need of jump drives to go through it.

The Prometheus is refitted and upgraded to Prometheus Plus class science vessel. It starts the geosurvey of Sol System asteroids.

Unrest on Mars. A local cult spread the voice about a possible connection of the Centaurians with an evil entity.

Unrest continues on Mars, martian population wants protection from Earth in the form of military starships orbiting the planet. Earth representative states that no ships are now armed with weapons and able to do that.

The Alpha Centauri Jump Gate is finished. The UNF Baleares cross it for tests successfully and start building the jump gate on the other side of the jump point.

Mars revolt continues, police cannot controls it. In six months 434 people are killed.

UNF Baleares finishes the jump gate on Alpha Centauri versus Sol system. Communication between the systems is now estabilished.

Due to the uncontrollable situation on Mars, the Federation send the 4th Mobile Infantry Battalion on Mars by the newly christened Troop Transport Ship UNF Longbow. After a brief combat wih the insurgent, the situation returned to normal, the total count of victims of the Mars revolt amounts to 678.
Commodore Sophia Blake finished estimates the total quantity of TN minerals under the crust of Mars.
Thanks to the jump gate, the Prometheus starts mapping the Alpha Centauri System.

Ancient Ruins are found on Alpha-Centauri-A V.
The Federal Army is expanded, along the Mobile Infantry forces the Federal Marine Corps is founded.

The 4th Mob.Inf. Battalion on Mars is reinforced with the 6th MIB (Mobile Infantry Battalion) and they formed the 2nd Brigade 'Paladins'
The UNF salvager Barghest recovery salvages from an unknown starship on Alpha Centauri, It's not definitely Centaurian technology.

The Federal Engineer Corps is formed.

Brandon Cross, the Commander of the Federal Starfleet was killed by a Mars colonist during a visit on the planet. The reason of the killing remains unknown due to the death of the assassin shooted by Cross' bodyguards.
Federal Chancellor Wichern order the immediate reorganization of the Starfleet and it's subdivision in branches accordingly to fleets task.
