Just bumping this. We have one hard working moderator at the moment, so it would be good to find some more volunteers.

A few members of the current bug moderator team are being affected by real life :) so I am looking for new moderator volunteers.

Good skills for a potential moderator include:
* Good Aurora knowledge
* Any QA/Testing experience
* Programming/database knowledge

However, none is mandatory as you can 'learn on the job'. The most important attribute for a moderator is the willingness and dedication to go through other peoples bug reports and try to understand/reproduce them.

You can handle the moderator role in whatever way you feel comfortable. As an example, here is the process followed by one of the existing mods:

1. Is this already reported/known
2. Determine if it is a bug at all? Is it WAI or is the player misunderstanding something?
3. Can I reproduce it? If not, ask for confirmation from other players or use judgement to decide if Steve should investigate anyway.
4. In some cases, do some preliminary investigation and add extra information before passing on.
5. If a bug, then mark the original bug report post with blue text like Confirmed
6. Post in confirmed bugs thread and add db where appropriate

If you are interested, please reply by private message, or ask any questions on this thread

Thanks.
