Noticed a dearth of Polynesian themes, so here's a list of Hawaiian Ali'i nui (chiefs, kings) from the pre-unification up to Kamehameha I.

List of combined adjectives and animals (600)

I wanted something in a slightly different tone, so I combined two lists again: One with descriptive adjectives and feelings, and another with animals.   Randomized and combined they give names like:
  • Horrified Turtle
  • Friendly Whale
  • Furious Mink
  • Average Starling
  • Beaming Wombat
Only a lucky commander gets a ship named as glorious as the 'Brave Hawk' or 'Inspiring Badger'.   He is far more likely to get something like the 'Gloomy Pony' or 'Average Hamster'.

List of combined adjectives and concepts (600)

I got inspired by the British cold war "Rainbow Codes" and Ian Banks "Culture", so I compiled two lists: One with descriptive adjectives and feelings, and another with general and philosophical concepts.   Randomized and combined they give names like:
  • Engaged Bravery
  • Difficult Service
  • Troubling Technology
  • Abnormal Problem
  • Huge Identity

A collection of names from the Alliance Fleet of the Lost Fleet book series. These make great names for any empire consisting of humans from Earth, without being too specific to any one culture or nationality. The lists contain:
  • Lost Fleet Battleships: 37 names, mostly "impressive"-sounding names like "Defiant", "Dreadnought", and "Relentless".
  • Lost Fleet Battlecruisers: 31 names, also following the same general "impressive" name theme, along with some "nimble" names like "Agile" and "Adroit".
  • Lost Fleet Heavy Cruisers: 58 names, with a variety of combat- and mythology-themed names like "Gryphon", "Kraken", "Parapet", and "Vambrace".
  • Lost Fleet Light Cruisers: 59 names, with a similar list of combat- and bird-themed names like "Brigandine", "Hawk", and "Pommel".
  • Lost Fleet Destroyers: 91 names, mostly weapons and "light"-sounding names like "Bolt", "Dart", "Xiphos", and "Flint".

A commander name scheme of Stripper names, something which I'm pretty sure that no one was looking for.

Now you too can have commanders like Sparkle Delight, Cobra Divine, and Vixen Peaks!

246 female names
90 male names
131 last names

Here are the spoiler factions from The Expanse along with the combined list (which includes ships from the spoiler factions)

The names themselves aren't spoilers per se, but looking them up could lead to people discovering spoilers for that amazing series.  Unironically, Aurora scratches that Expanse itch

I went ahead and drafted a list of names of ships from The Expanse (both the show and the books), sorted by faction, with a combined list for all factions.

Due to attachment limits, I'll put the spoiler ones in another reply along with the combined list (which includes the spoiler factions)

I've put together a set of five system name themes for a multiple-player-race campaign. These are a bit unique as they each contain 63k unique names giving one for every system in a Real Stars game. Probably an unnecessary volume of names but you can never be too careful.

File names are shared with the race of my campaign and don't necessarily mean anything out of context. Most of these themes follow a convention based on made-up constellation designations (think "Alpha Centauri" but the "Alpha" is some other kind of designation and "Centauri" is replaced by made-up constellation names) and once these run out, the rest of the names follow some sort of catalog numbering scheme(s).
  • Cenaturi: Catalog and constellation names loosely based on character and VA names from the Alpha Centauri game. Constellation star designations are based on a letter coding of the D'ni numeral system.
  • Roon: All stars are "Star #####", with the intention in-game to replace the "Star" part with a stellar class designation, e.g., renaming a system as "RD 12345" to indicate a red dwarf star. This theme is effectively just a list of random numbers with haphazard sorting applied.
  • Sulamis: Constellation names based on Welsh, Norse, and Indonesian/Javanese astronomy. Designations based on Welsh, Old Norse runic, and Arabic alphabets followed by numeric designations once these run out. No catalog names.
  • Firstborn: Constellation names based on a list of biblical cities. Designations based on the Hebrew alphabet. No catalog names.
  • Sirian: Constellations names based on genuses of caninae, both extant and extinct. Designations based on onomatopoeia for dog sounds. Catalog names follow a Stargate-style mix of letters and numbers.
