I had a survey ship approximately 13m k from a Precursor missile base. Well over a dozen 14 missile salvos failed to overwhelm a defence of 5 x 20cm lasers. which had to only intercept one missile or very occasionally two and once three, while some salvos missed entirely. This is not what I expect. My survey ship should have been destroyed several times times over, and would have in VB6. I captured one of these bases and attach it in case there is an error in the design. I do not have full specs on the missiles but they travel at 26,000+ k/s, approximately 5 x faster than my survey ship.

The ship suffered zero hits, appearing to only intercept missiles those that would have hit, all the other missiles missed. Something seems broken. I am not sure but do not think I see the same effect with the size 1 missile storm, but am in no way sure as there are usually at least 88 missiles in each salvo group.

Probably the ECM-60 on your ship , that will cut the hit chance down a lot as there is no ECCM on the launchers or missiles being fired at you

If i remember the ECM calculations right that 60 is a 60% reduction in hit chance, id say its definitely the ECM

It's definitely the ECM. Remember that ECM is subtracted from accuracy, it is not a multiplier. NPR missiles typically have very low maneuver ratings, so even if they have 5x your ship speed their %CTH is usually only in the 50% to 60% range, and ECM-60 will subtract 60% from that leaving 0% chance to hit.

OK I had assumed ECM was the same as VB6 Aurora where it reduced the range you could engage at, not the accuracy.
