At the yearly Science Conference in the Tokyo Prefecture, He Jian Cui stood at the podium of the main conference speech hall. He cleared his throat and spoke in a matter-of-fact and plain tone. “Ladies and Gentlemen of this esteemed convention, I am proud to present the Research Bureau’s projects for 2025. The endeavors we take today create the foundations for a better future tomorrow. For the next generations to come, they will remember our work as crucial to the survival of the Human race.” He Jian Cui’s assistant reveals a prototype of the Jian Systems Commercial Engine on stage with help from many automated loaders. The engine uses the old thrust technology but utilizes rudimentary and crude materials from Trans-Newtonian technology. Jian also reveals the full plan for technology in the upcoming years.
2029
The past four years have been largely uneventful. Particularly, technologies from the list are researched and the Jian Systems Commercial Engine finishes research. On March 19th of 2029, the Tianming finished developing the Trans-Newtonian Technology. New technology begins to be adapted into factories and construction yards. The government of Tianming grew weary of the impending doom in 11 years.
2032
After 3 years of further research Jian Systems announces, in cooperation with the large Jukodo Corporation, the Zu Chongzhi class Survey Ship. The Zu Chongzhi class is a 2000 tons intersystem vessel capable of 110 billion km range. She is equipped with one Geological Survey Sensor. Shipwrights in the design document note that the strategic range and the maintenance supplies of the Zu Chongzhi class are excessive. The Jukodo Shipyards are tooled to fit the Zu Chongzhi class. The maiden voyage of the Zu Chongzhi is primed for launch in December of 2032.
December 8th, 2032
The launch of the Zu Chongzhi in the outskirts of former Shanghai was a success! He Jian Cui stood proudly at the launch site, watching the vessel take off towards her mission on Luna.

By now, the situation is growing desperate for the Tianming government. With trans-newtonian elements dwindling and the looming threat of whatever is out there coming, He Jian Cui and his Jian Systems corporation have theorized a small craft to probe the theorized jump points. Many skeptics in academia regard the Jump Point Theory to be nonsense… Industry giants remark the lack of these legendary trans-newtonian elements: “a failed dream of the future. The ramblings of madmen.” The Tianming Imperial Army utilized the newest armor technology provided by the Tianming research, but still continued to equip weapons from the 3rd World War. Captain Kong Bi Dan writes in an official report on growing dissent in the Army: “They’re eager for action, ready to fight whatever comes to attack us. The Tianming Research Bureau had made a breakthrough in the Jump Point theory! Now with this good news, the Research Bureau begins work on the research needed to make a Jump Point Engine capable of taking a vessel through space.
