Good evening all,

We have twelve new videos in the past nine days!

Firstly, in version 1.12 (or later) news.

Defran Strategy has posted the next two parts of his 'Uncut Season 2' live playthrough (parts 25 & 26). He has also posted a live stream of him playing Aurorea 4X. Liquidor has posted eight new videos, completing his 'Avian Superiority' series (parts 3 to 8) and starting his 'United Terran Federation' playthrough (parts 1 to 3).

So, for version 1.12 we now have 462 videos with a total running time of 15 days, 3 hours and 13 minutes.

Next, for other/unknown versions.

All videos posted were for version 1.12 (or later).

So, overall, we now have a total of 970 videos with a total running time of 28 days, 12 hours and 8 minutes.

As usual, I have added the latest copies of the spreadsheets to the first post.

Good evening all,

A new home but the same service!

We have four new videos in the past five days!

Firstly, in version 1.12 (or later) news.

Liquidor has posted the next four parts of his 'United Terran Federation' playthrough (parts 4 to 7).

So, for version 1.12 we now have 466 videos with a total running time of 15 days, 6 hours and 3 minutes.

Next, for other/unknown versions.

All videos posted were for version 1.12 (or later).

So, overall, we now have a total of 974 videos with a total running time of 28 days, 14 hours and 58 minutes.

As usual, I have added the latest copies of the spreadsheets to the first post.

I am aware that there has been a short series created covering Quasar 4X. I will consider creating a Quasar 4X sheet if other creators start posting or if a longer 'Let's Play' type series is posted. If so, I will leave a comment here and create anew topic in the Quasar 4X forum.

Just tooting my own horn here, sorry if that's impolite, but I have been uploading my lets play Aurora 4X (C#) Videos on youtube, under my name Kevin Walsh.  you can find the first one here
https://youtu. be/rZGE90QUljg
and I have about 43 up so far and adding a few most days, Videos are usually about half an hour long, and after about the 8th one I started cutting out most of the time ticking, and cutting back for events and design discussions.
I am away I speak kinda quietly, but that's just me

Thanks Andy for keeping this database up.

I just started a new campaign of Aurora 4X on C#.  I've done the old version before.
This is, to my knowledge, the only campaign in Portuguese.

Due to the niche nature of this game, the campaign actually hurts my channel SEO, but I love Aurora so I'll do it anyway.
If you speak Portuguese or just want to go say "hi", you can find the ongoing campaign on this playlist:

Thanks!

Good afternoon all,

I'm back! After burning out and having a close relative passing during the pandemic, I have now taken early retirement, taken a few months to destress and I'm ready to get back into it.

So what did I miss?

The spread of Aurora 4X to other countries has led to an increase in videos being created in non-English languages such as Portugese and Russian such that Aurora videos are now available in seven different languages.

The release of 2.0 seems to re-invigorated the 'Let's Play' community and even now we have continuing series from;

Count Cristo
Defran Strategy
Jordi PC Gamer
Kevin Walsh
Kourgath223
MyTurn2Game

The Aurora 4X video community is stronger now than 18 months ago.

I have attached two files to the first post; one is of all Aurora 4X C# videos. The second is of videos covering versions 2.0.0 to 2.1.1.

I have considered the changes coming for version 2.2 and it looks like many older videos will no longer be relevant for players of v2.2 so, when it is released, i will start a new spreadsheet of 2.2 videos only. I will produce three spreadsheets for about a month before stopping the v2.0 to v2.2.2 spreadsheet and folding that back into the overall spreadsheet.

The V2 spreadsheet lists 200 videos with a total running time of 6 days, 23 hours, and 10 minutes.
The whole spreadsheet now lists a whopping 1565 videos with a total running time of 50 days, 15 hours, and 18 minutes.

I am slowly checking all the videos on that list as I know some have been renamed (or even deleted) and playlists have changed. If you find a link that doesn't work please let me know.

For content creators, the Aurora Videos (C#) forum exists to promote your content and you should definitely use it to advertise your work.

Thanks,

Andy

Return of the King, thanks for the update!
Maybe, in the end, this was the best that any warrior could hope for. A chance to reconcile with your enemy, or, failing that, to fall in the pursuit of peace

Good afternoon all,

I have started checking the database is still accurate with YouTube but, since its such a big job, I will concentrate on those videos based on v2.0 and up first. The only creator still making videos based on 1.13.0 is Kevin Walsh who is up to part 164 of his very long running series, but he has an irregular posting schedule and it can be difficult to tell if the series has ended.

We have fifteen new videos, from five creators, in just the past seven days!

Firstly, in version 2.0 (or later) news.

Count Cristo has posted the next part of his playthrough (part 23), CYBER BORODA has posted his first 2.1.1 Russian-language video. The prolific Defran Strategy has posted the next three parts of his 'Conventional Starting Steps Remade' series (parts 2 to 4) and has posted the next six parts of his 'Commonwealth' playthrough (parts 17 to 22). Kourgath223 has posted the next two parts of his playthrough (parts 40 & 41). MyTurn2Game has posted the next two parts of his playthrough (parts 27 & 28).

So, for version 2.0 (or later) we now have 215 videos with a total running time of 7 days, 14 hours and 17 minutes.

Next, for earlier/unknown versions.

All videos posted were for version 2.0 (or later).

So, overall, we now have a total of 1580 videos with a total running time of 51 days, 5 hours and 34 minutes.

As usual, I have added the latest copies of the spreadsheets to the first post.

Good afternoon all,

We have nine new videos, from three creators, in just the past nine days!

Firstly, in version 2.0 (or later) news.

Count Cristo has posted the next part of his playthrough (part 27). MyTurn2Game has posted the next seven parts of his playthrough (parts 34 to 40).

So, for version 2.0 (or later) we now have 238 videos with a total running time of 8 days, 13 hours and 16 minutes.

Next, for earlier/unknown versions.

Paleolith Games has posted a Russian-language livestream. I'm not actually sure of the version but everything he has posted before was 1.13.0 and this one has circular planetary orbits so I assume it is 1.13.0.

So, overall, we now have a total of 1604 videos with a total running time of 52 days, 5 hours and 23 minutes.

As usual, I have added the latest copies of the spreadsheets to the first post.

You may have noticed that I have updated the links to channels to YouTubes new format (the old ones still work, BTW). I have continued checking and it looks like all v2.0.0 and up videos are still available.
