C# Suggestions
« Reply #15 on: April 12, 2020, 12:45:59 PM »
Is there a way to resize the font and or change color/type?  I am playing with the same monitor and setting as vb aurora but things just seem to small or smaller.   Maybe its the same but it just seems harder to read.   So I lowered my monitor setting to 1440x900 it helped a little but the font is still small for the increase in everything else.

Another option to is different back ground color?  The dark blueish color is nice but maybe a black background option would help some font and objects stand out better making the font easier to read against the background without resizing it.

Currently trying to set standing orders for an Admin command prompts the player to select a fleet.  It would be nice if it instead set the standing orders for all fleets attached to the Admin command.  This could be used to quickly set up geosurvey standing orders for multiple fleets.

Option of Darker UI Theme for buttons array in main game window.

Game now became way less bright with all windows having nice pleasant dark-blue background.  But if you spend significant time in Class Design(for example) and then switch back to System View you are suddenly greeted with this particularly bright white chunk of the screen and it somewhat puts a stress on your eyes.

Easiest solution that comes to mind is to make background on these buttons the same as it is on Increment Length buttons.  I. e.  white border outline, blue fill in background, icon in the center.
There is no such thing as unarmed spaceship.

There could be an indicator of how many officers you have on a given rank. Like say "Lieutenant Commander (28)"

I've added this for the patch.

As one of those with a 1366x768 screen, is there any chance of a "can move the screen around" option? Obviously not now as I am sure bug-squashing takes priority.  I can open everything up and so on, but the buttons at the bottom don't even show up.  Another monitor isn't really an option at the moment.

>move taskbar to the side
>move the windows up with the mouse to peek at the buttons
>window scaling in settings? I have heard that might work.

This is minor, but the premade classifications in the ship design window are currently organized by "Prefix, Specialty, Role" (DDG Missile Destroyer, for example).  Reorganizing these to "Role, Specialty, Prefix" (so "Destroyer, Missile, DDG") would have better organization.

Could we maybe get a option to select what interrupts the auto turns?

Turns go so fast that, I could really need to stop the auto turns on more events.

Also could we get the default colors back in the event viewer please?  :)

An autosave every xx number of days/increments.

I'd prefer if it were based on real time minutes, like autosave every 30 minutes. That way you'll never lose more than 30 minutes of real time, whereas number of days/increments might not correspond well to real time. For example you could be spending an hour designing ships and components without ever incrementing the game time.

Would be nice to have some way to save metals and their conditions between save games.  In particular an export/import mechanic so I don't need to make them myself but can simply use someone elses ;D
