C# Aurora v1.10 Patch
« on: April 13, 2020, 11:52:27 AM »
First patch is available. Replace the Aurora.exe and AuroraDB.db files with the two files from this patch.

V1.10 Patch (21Mb)

This fixes most outstanding bugs. I am still working on the list below, but I thought it was worth bringing out an update in the meantime.

To-Do
Supply below 20 Conditional Order not working
No Maintenance not working.
All Stable not working
Jump shock affecting subsequent jumps for too long
Fuel burning too fast with Task Force Training
Unload tasks not using Max Items

Thank you for all your hard work over the years and this past day of addressing minor bugs! It's been a real whirlwind.

I'm sad to see the Design Philosophy button go away.    May it rest in peace.

VERY MINOR ISSUE
It's good to see temperatures on Titan can still go below absolute zero with "Cooling Sol" start. I'm at about -1,489.078 K with 0.91 luminosity on Sol.

Thanks for this quick update.   Are we ok starting a new game, or will the next patch for the current outstanding issues probably break a game started now?  Thanks.

Don't know at this point. It will depend if the fixes require DB changes.

Let's be realistic. A healthy approach is treating any game right now as a learning game  ;D

It's better that way, compared to having expectations of DB not requiring more fixes.
The game was released just yesterday! Amazing work on putting out a patch already, Steve.

Supply below 20 Conditional Order not working

If this is the issue I am thinking of, the Supply below 10% and 20% conditionals do work, it's the "Resupply at..." orders that aren't working.

If you set for example "If Supplies are below 20% -> Refuel at colony", then your fleets will go and refuel when their supplies hit 20% or 10%. They just don't do anything if you set them to resupply when their supplies are at 10% or 20%.
The popular stereotype of the researcher is that of a skeptic and a pessimist.  Nothing could be further from the truth! Scientists must be optimists at heart, in order to block out the incessant chorus of those who say "It cannot be done. "

Ah thanks, that is useful to know.

Hmm, it would seem the problem with the code is that I forgot to write the code :)

Thanks for patching so quickly Steve, the hard work after years of hard work is definitely appreciated  :)

Do you have any plan to release another patch today, or will it be more of a “once I have enough fixes to justify a new build” sort of system? Either way is great, just wondering whether I should wait a few more hours before jumping in for my evening session  :)

Do we have actual patch notes highlighting exactly what bugs have been addressed?

Nope.  Just Steve's posts in the Bugs thread.
