C# Aurora v1.80 Patch
« on: April 21, 2020, 02:58:30 PM »
This is not save game compatible. Delete the Aurora.exe and AuroraDB.db files from the installation directory and then copy the two files from this patch into that directory.

v1.8.0 Patch (21Mb)

If you reported a bug in a previous version and I didn't explicitly state it was fixed, please check it still exists in v1.8 before reporting it. Please do not report bugs from earlier versions.

Please read Known Issues before reporting bugs

Cannot remember seeing any AAA game with this level of post-release support.

May I know when is there going to be a stable release?

I was planning to do it at the weekend. I am just doing my best to keep the releases unstable until then.

Sorry with my question, Steve: Will you release a version compatible with 768 high resolution? The tipical problem with screen-notebook.  I have 1366x768.

Thanks!

first time posting.     Great game just found it Saturday :) found a couple of bugs on current release (1.    8.    0)

-Survey vessels will not continue to their second set of conditional orders if their first orders are not valid (tried it with both survey nearest body as first and survey nearest survey location as second as well as vs versus) (issue is new since 1.    6.    3)

-Two wormholes in system A linking to Two wormholes in system B

-EDIT- I believe the last is covered under known bugs, I just misinterpreted the bugs wording.
-cargo vessels are not dropping x1 of item when instructed to do so instead they drop all (trying to move mass drivers around sol)

I fear Steve will feel burned by his pet project at some point, given how much he works on it. If you need to take a break Steve, then don't hesitate, we will wait (albeit impatiently, but we will wait).

If your ship is equipped only with Geological Survey Sensors then "Survey Nearest Surevey Location" order will not work, because it tells captain to use Gravitational Survey Sensor and scan possible Jump Points. In general, every order that have two words:
  • Survey and Body = Gelogical Survey
  • Survey and Location = Gravitational Survey

They have both equipped.  as I stated exact same build worked just fine with no order errors in 1. 6. 3.

Although I wish it were that simple to fix.

Not a bug, just exceedingly rare.  You can, after all, build two roads by two different routes to next village.
