Events not showing on 1.13.0

Hello, I am currently on an adventure to make the c# version run on my pc, after learning i had to change stuff in my time setting b/c things where not properly calculated i tought i could finaly start to play but there are no events showing up and the only info i was able to find both reffer to using an older version yet as far i can tell i used the correct download.

This is where i downloaded the game: (v1. 13. 0 Full Installation (110Mb)

I have extracted the zip file into a folder i created onto my desktop.

Any idea's?

As to your question, events do not normally show on the Tactical Map unless you tick the "Events" box in the Display tab on the left side of the screen. Alternatively, if you have multiple monitors, you can keep the Events window open in a 2nd monitor at all times. It's among the row of buttons at the top.
