No, I don't have a list, sorry. I'm matching the star systems that Aurora generates with actual star names for actual systems of the same type. The ones I can't find in reality are the ones that end up with Aurora names.

Kurt – have you developed an astronomical theme? If so any chance of Steve incorporating it into v4.0?

PS when do we get the next instalment?
One can only imagine the havoc that would ensue were those computers to be destroyed. Or worse, if someone were to succeed in entering the sanctum and trying to reprogram them.
Very interesting, have you ever read the Weber/Ringo "March up country" series? In those books people had "toots" implanted in there heads which operated similar (but not exactly) to the way you describe the Russkis. In the books there was the risk that they could be hacked (not easily to be sure) and the person could be taken over (called a tombie) and controlled. This was used to assassinate, etc.
Is something like that possible in the implant scenario you've developed?
With a choice of 2 ships, the Novarans choose the jump capable ship for first comtact?
That could have turned out badly. Lucky for them it didn't.
(EDIT) Ah, I misread it - the jump capable one did stay back. Well, carry on.
Strains of "The Terminator" theme begin to emerge from the Soviet Union.

Adam.
It would, if they were zombies, rather than just woefully misunderstood. In a purple sort of way, of course.
Kurt
How are you simulating this in the game?
